How do I access the HBA Academy?
The HBA Academy uses "Single Sign On"
, so once you are logged into your main HBA profile, you will be automatically logged into HBA Academy. Visit the login page linked
here 

I forgot my username and/or password. What should I do?
You can click on “forgot your password” via your HBA profile sign in screen in order to reset your password. 
 

A video within my course is not loading; what should I do?
Please clear your browser of cookies and cache. Once you have done so, please reload the video. If an error continues, please contact
academy@hbanet.org. 

Will the HBA Academy learning platform work on my mobile device?
Yes, the HBA Academy is configured to work with all mobile devices.
 

I have to pause in the middle of a course. Will my course progress be saved so that I can continue where I left off as time allows?
Yes
, your course progress will be saved and you can continue the course as your schedule allows. 
 


Data & Privacy

My colleague would like to access a course; can I share my username and password with this individual?
No, login credentials cannot be shared with others and doing so is considered a violation of our user agreement.

Is my information sold or provided to another third party?
No, we do not sell your information for marketing purposes.


Payments

Is there a refund policy?
There are no refunds for any live events or courses. We do understand that there may be extenuating circumstances for a refund, and if you would like to get more information, please contact
academy@hbanet.org 

How can I enter a promotion code for a course or event?
Promotion codes can be added during checkout. If you experience issues with a promotion code showing up as invalid, contact
academy@hbanet.org. 

Where can I locate a payment receipt for my expenses?
Payment receipts can be located under the "My Invoices" section of your HBA member profile.

I previously registered for a live event or webinar. Will I be able to access the recording in the LMS?

We are currently working on adding past events and webinar recordings to the user profiles of those who registered or purchased them. If you do not see a recording you expect, please check back soon.

How can I report a violation of the Code of Conduct in a discussion room?
If you witness or experience behavior such as harassment, intimidation or abuse, report violations immediately to academy@hbanet.org.
